A unique tour for the whole family

For this tour we specially considered the children. The bus has ample space for all, the program is fixed, but you yourselves decide how fast you want to travel and how you want to spend the day. You travel with your personal English speaking guide and with your own driver. We chose hotels for you where there is a good swimming pool so that, at the end of a day of touring, your children can have fun in the water



.

Day 1. Arrival in Israel.

Arrival at Ben Gurion airport. A representative of our office is expecting you and will make sure that you are taken to the hotel in Tel Aviv. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 2. Caesarea – Akko – Rosh Hanikra.

Early in the morning, after a delicious Israeli breakfast, we drive to the North towards Caesarea, an old Roman city on the sea with beautiful mosaic floors and an impressive aquaduct. In the afternoon we visit the city of Akko. Akko is one of the oldest cities in the world. The excavations date from the time of the Canaanites. The old city is surrounded by thick walls and within the maze of alleyways we find many remains from the time of the Middle Ages. Not far from the Lebanese border are the caves of Rosh Hanikra. We descend by cable car  and explore the caves by foot. Later in the afternoon we drive to our hotel in Tiberias.

Day 3. Hula Valley – Manara Cliff – Golan Heights.

We start our day with a walk in the Hula nature reserve. Here we enjoy plants and animals indigenous in this region. A multi-sensory audio-visual show tells us more about the origin of this area. From here we continue our journey to the North. In Kiryat Shmona we use the longest cable in Israel to travel to the highest cliff of Israel. Here we have a wonderful view of the Hula Valley, the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon. In order to cool down and to relax, we continue our tour to the Golan Heights. We visit the Banias waterfall and we go kayaking on the Jordan. Don’t forget to bring your bathing costumes with you! Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4. Tiberias – Nazareth – Gan Hashlosha.

After our breakfast we go for a boat ride on the lake of Tiberias. After the boat ride we will visit Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes. We drive to Nazareth. In the open-air museum of Nazareth Village we will have an interesting guided tour. We will hear and experience how the inhabitants of Nazareth lived  2000 years ago. Before we drive to Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley, we first go for a good swim in the warm mineral springs of Gan Hashlosha, a nature reserve. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5. The Old City of Jerusalem.

Today we will explore the Old City of Jerusalem. The best way to start is by walking on the ancient city walls.From there we will enter the Old City through the Lions’ Gate. We visit several holy sites in the Arab Quarter and the Christian Quarter, such as Ecce Homo, the Church of St.Anne and the Holy Sepulchre Church. We stroll through the bazar with its special atmosphere on our way to the Wailing Wall. Just outside the Dung Gate is the City of David. We walk through the Tunnel of Shiloah which is partially filled with water. In the evening, after dinner, we will return to the Old City. In the Citadel we watch a spectacular show. Through light and music we experience the history of Jerusalem.Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6. The new city of Jerusalem.

After breakfast, our guide and our driver are ready to take us to the Israel Museum. Here we will see a model of Jerusalem. We will also visit the Shrine of the Book. Next, we will use a time machine to go back 3000 years in the history of Jerusalem.In the afternoon we will go on safari. We will visit the Biblical Zoo. Besides the exhibition with collections of fish and reptiles we will be able to see quite exotic animals, such as elephants, tigers and monkeys, which we know from the Bible. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7. Genesis Land – Dead Sea – Ein Gedi – Kfar Hanokdim.

Today we travel towards the desert. We leave Jerusalem and drive through the Judean desert to the lowest lake in the world, the Dead Sea. On our way to the Dead Sea we stop in Genesis Land. In this exotic place in the desert we learn and experience how life was in biblical times. Many activities are organized here, especially for the children. They can make mosaics from little stones or learn to bake pita bread. Before we enjoy floating in the Dead Sea, we first go to the nature reserve of Ein Gedi for a short visit. We will walk to the waterfall. The rest of the afternoon will be a wonderful time of relaxation near the water. Today, we have organized a special place where you will spend the night. We will taste a traditional Bedouin meal and sleep in a tent under the stars.

Day 8. Negev desert – Dead Sea – Jerusalem.

Before we start today’s tour, we will go for a short camel ride. Afterwards we will explore the Negev desert by jeep. Via the Dead Sea, where we will visit the rock fortress Masada, we will drive to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9. Tel Aviv.

After breakfast we drive to Tel Aviv. On our way we stop in Latrun, where we will visit Mini Israel, the Madurodam of Israel. Next, we tour the city of Tel Aviv and visit Jaffa, the biblical Joppe. Jaffa is one of the oldest ports in the world. You will have a free afternoon at your disposal to go shopping, maybe to buy your last souvenirs. A visit to the Carmel Market is really worthwhile. Or you can simply enjoy the beach. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 10. Departure.

Unfortunate this tour has come to an end and we prepare for our return journey home.
